After 2 very fine concerts in Collaboration with Henriette Groth and
Marc Weiser at the Urban Peas/Brumtone nights at Tentstation in Berlin
+ some great concerts by my Brum From Denmark Trio, I am now
preparing the next big thing...The reunion of Elektrazz. That will be at the at the Urban Peas/Brumtone nights at Tentstation in Berlin, Aug 15th. Peter Kruzh'em and I have been meeting some times now and are both together working on beats and moods, to make it a brand new elektro night - I look forward to that! A week after I will play in Copenhagen Jazzhouse, Aug 21th. with my Brum From Denmark Trio. By the end of the month I am playing with the Ljiljana Petkovic Orchestra at the tenstation closing party in Berlin. The same night I will be DJ'ing and playing live as part of my new live/DJ concept called GLOBAL UNIT.
But first I will go sailing in my boat next week to get some relaxing holiday and charging of my inner bateries...

January is always a hard month. After Christmas holiday you suddenly
wake up and realize that you have lots of work to do, and that you
maybe should have looked just a bit at it during the holidays. Anyway I

At the moment I am working on the random brumtones player for the site.
I am for ths player collecting brumtones from different noise machines,
the highway, the seeway, the ocean, the kithchen, the nature, the
subway and lots of other interesting brumtones generating sources.

Hi, I am August Engkilde. I am the artist behind EPO, Police Beat Box, August Engkilde (Surprise!), Elektrazz (in collaboration with Kruzh'em). This is where I will be posting news about my work at the moment as well as thoughts about music.

We do this since brumtone artists and related artists in the shop are explorers in music and not compromise in style or quality and therefore rarely sell like pop artists.
