Hello and welcome to our new feature on urban peas radio:
The sound of Berlin.Of course there is nothing such a sound of Berlin,
there are many different scenes and many different sounds and this is why Berlin is actually so exciting. You have unlimited variety and you have unlimited choice.
But as we all know too much offer can be a problem, too. It is very easy to choose between an apple or a pear. Imagine you have 100's of fruits.
and not just that, beside from the few fruits you know and you like, you have 100s of fruits , of which you have never ever heard of before and you have never ever tried their taste. Well, this is how it could feel with all the music going on here in Berlin.
Therefore we decided to pretaste as many of these strange fruits for you.
The Sound of Berlin will introduce you to artists, DJ's, scenes and labels from Berlin.
We start with a label that was born in Cologne but it is based in Berlin for a couple of years now. Somehow you could say it is representing the sound of Cologne in Berlin:
Karaoke KalkI met labelowner Thorsten Lütz for an interview and he brought lots of great music, too! In this feature we will introduce you, to the sound of an extraordinairy label with very special releaeses of music, that can not be categorized anything else but special and very nice!
You will find out about great and exiting artists and you will hear the story of the label told by Thorsten himself, who is, by the way, a very charming model of a "partyanimal" with a strong sense for his family ;)
