and welcome to another edition of zeiTraum radio.
he theme this week is: Tents !
I did some research and made a nice little report about
tents in various cultures.



I also had a nice talk with Sarah Osswald from "Tentstation", who visited me in the studio with a young Labrador, who made a lot noise during our conversation ;)  Sarah had the great  and very succesfull idea to run a campsite in the middle of town !

Hello,

the show this week is very special  and the process of preparation was a lot of fun, too !   Somehow it turned out the theme of the week wanted to be "water"....



I did some research on Japanese Bath Culture and  found out some interesting stories !  One point made me laugh - in families it was the tradition to bath alltogether in one tub and if the bath tub was too small, the father would go first, followed by the other men of the family (oldest first), followed by the boys, the women and at last the girls.When I was a girl it was  a bit like that in our home, my dad would always take the bath first, than my mum and then me and my little brotherWhen I got older and wanted my own fresh water it was some struggle to get it, because my dad wanted to save water ;)

While I was researching I found  a beautiful bath in Berlin - Ruhepool. I got in touch and met Karin Töpfer, the founder of ruhepool who showed me around in the beautiful rooms of her bath-house. I wanted to take pictures but I was so overwhelmed I forget...but I will make some pics, when I am going for a japanese bath ritual this week and post them later on my urban peas radio blog on facebook!  Karin joined me live at the show to introduce you to japanese bath culture in Berlin and you can hear what we talked about in zeiTraum vol 4 !

The DJ mix is very special, too....following the theme of water, I ended up with a musical under water aqua fantasy  "Hotel Aqua"...
